Eden Espinosa has been seen in Wicked as Elphaba, an iconic Broadway role. This month she embarked on a new journey with Falsettos on tour as Trina. Espinosa recently released an album titled Revelation, which features ten empowering and well-written songs.
As an actor, Espinosa has performed scripted parts, but in this album, she took on a whole new part. She became a songwriter, writing eight songs for her new album. Espinosa’s distinguished vocals take this album to a whole new level. Her ability to craft lyrics that resonate with her listeners is an incredible skill, as each song demonstrates simply as you listen.
Revelation begins with “Deadly Sin”. The song is a perfect start to this album with its pulsating hardcore beat. Each song was carefully crafted to form this incredible album. As the album continues songs such as “Master of My Life” and “Bed for 2” crescendo this album into a more modern musical style. Later comes “The Answer” which transitions the album to a lighter and more emotional state. The album concludes with “Fireworks & Stars”, a light and meaningful song. The lyrics are those of a love song and are the perfect ending to her album.
Revelation demonstrates a wonderful transition of life, self-discovery, and the pain faced throughout the process of life. These are all lessons important to learn to become our best selves. You don’t want to miss Revelation streaming now on Spotify and Itunes!
